Town Meeting Minutes – Monday, August 6, 2001

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
TOWN OF BRUSLY
BRUSLY, LOUISIANA

A special town meeting of the Town of Brusly was held this date at 6:20 p.m. at the Brusly Town Hall with the following present:

Mayor: Joey Normand
Councilors: Ronda Perrault
Chris “Fish” Kershaw
Joanne Bourgeois
Daryl “Turf” Babin – ABSENT
Shane André – ABSENT

Town Clerk Jules Lefeaux declared a quorum was present.

Councilor Bourgeois led the Pledge of Allegiance.

A motion was made by Councilor Bourgeois to transfer the 1994 Chevy Wagon to the Fire Subdistrict No. 2, seconded by Councilor Kershaw. The motion carried unanimously.

Chief Emmett Worley led the discussion to declare the 1995 Ford police car as surplus and suggested a minimum bid be set at $2500.

A motion was made by Councilor Kershaw to declare the 1995 Ford police car as surplus with a minimum bid to be set at $2500, seconded by Councilor Bourgeois. The motion carried unanimously.

A motion was made by Councilor Bourgeois to adjourn, seconded by Councilor Perrault. The motion carried unanimously.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:27 p.m.
