Orleans Quarters Development Is Recipient Of Good Growth Award

The Greater Baton Rouge Growth Coalition and the Baton Rouge Business Report recently honored Orleans Quarters as the best residential development in the Greater Baton Rouge area for 2003. Working Title, LLC owners Bonnie and Dane D’Armond accepted the award at ceremonies held in the Baton Rouge Marriott on October 14th. Along with Project Manager Danny Rabalais, the D’Armonds had a clear vision of the type of residential development they wanted to build in the town of Brusly. From its inception in February 2002 till the final plat approval of the first filing in March 2003, uppermost in their minds was a commitment to preserve the natural attraction of the area and provide a place that anyone would be proud to call home.

To accomplish this, the entrance and common areas as well as the individual lots themselves were laid out in such a manner as to accent their natural beauty. PAVESTONE interlocking bricks were used near the stately oaks at the entrance to provide both aeration and irrigation to their roots. Multiple conduits were placed underneath Orleans Quarters Drive to allow for easy installation of services such as telephone and cable thus avoiding the need for overhead lines or under road boring to access each home. A courtyard acts as a place for residents to gather informally after strolling down the Orleans Walkway that runs from the courtyard along the north side of the development. An architectural control committee assures that all building conforms to the covenants of the development allowing for continuity of the overall design of Orleans Quarters while encouraging lot owners to incorporate original and innovative ideas for their homes.

The developers and all who made this recognition possible are proud to be part of the great things happening in the town of Brusly and look forward to helping in its tremendous growth in a climate of style and grace for many years to come.
