Chairperson Stelly opened the Public Hearing on the proposed Final Plat showing the Re-subdivision of a parcel of land located at 958 W. The Chair recognized Mr. Cletus Langlois, representing Shirley Guidry. Mr. Langois presented the plat and variance request.

Commissioners posed questions and expressed concerns about an existing building located directly on the proposed property line, the front property line facing the wrong direction, the lack of a utility servitude running the entire length of the property and the possibility that the existing accessory structure is an inhabitable structure, in violation of Town Ordinances.

Mayor Normand informed the Chair that his recommendation to the Town Council will be to take no action on the proposed re-subdivision until it is determined if the accessory structure is being used as a residence at the location, in violation of the Town’s Ordinances.
