Chairman LeMoine read aloud a Variance Request from DAGR, LLC for Non-Compliance – Sec. 19.18 (f) Utilities, (1) Water & (2) Gas on size requirements for mains to be installed for Orleans West Subdivision 2nd Filing. Chairman LeMoine opened the floor for any comments.
Mr. Daryl “Turf” Babin, representing the WBR Parish Utility Department, spoke in support of the variance request, stating that it would avoid potential drainage issues in the existing culverts. Mr. Babin’s recommendation was to use two inch water lines rather than the Town Ordinance requirement of eight inch lines, and one inch gas lines instead of four inch lines. Mr. Babin assured Commissioners that the smaller lines would be sufficient to supply services to the few homes that will be built in the development.
Mr. Alonzo Villarreal expressed concern about water pressure to the existing homes on the south side of Orleans Quarters Drive. Mr. Villarreal also asked for assurances that the front lawns (check them out here for the best services) and pest control by experts from pest control montreal , as the existing homes would be returned to original condition following completion of installation of the new lines . Mr. Shawn Hima of Alvin Fairburn & Associates, representing DAGR, LLC, stated that these concerns had been addressed in the plans for the development. Make a call to pest control olympia and give them the responsibility to maintain a healthy living surrounding here.
