Town Planning & Zoning Meeting Minutes – Wednesday, November 28, 2007

MINUTES OF THE BRUSLY PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION
NOVEMBER 28, 2007

A regular meeting of the Brusly Planning & Zoning Commission was held on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 in the Council Meeting Room, Brusly Town Hall, Brusly, Louisiana. Mr. Carroll Fontenot, Vice-Chairperson called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM.

Members present: Jules Thibodaux, Carroll Fontenot, Shane Sarradet, Steve Perkins.

Members absent: Rosa Stelly, Claudette Purnell.

Others present: Marianne Berthelot, Todd Leray.

Upon motion of Mr. Shane Sarradet, seconded by Mr. Jules Thibodaux, the minutes of the October 24, 2007 meeting were approved as written. Motion carried unanimously.

The Minutes of the Special Meeting held on November 12, 2007 were unanimously approved upon motion of Mr. Sarradet, seconded by Mr. Perkins.

Mr. Shane Sarradet was nominated to serve as Chairman of the Commission and was unanimously approved by those members present.

Due to the Christmas Holidays, the December meeting date was changed to Monday, December 10, 2007 at 5:30 PM.

Mr. Todd Leray was recognized. He requested to be placed on the agenda for the next meeting to resubdivide his property fronting on Venzule Street, designated as Lot B, in Sections 13 & 14, T8S, R12E, containing 11.25 acres.

He was advised that the commission will hold a public hearing on his request at the December 10th meeting and he should submit his plat by the beginning of next week.

There was no other business to come before the Planning or Zoning Commission.

A motion was made by Mr. Shane Sarradet to adjourn. Mr. Steve Perkins seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.

The meeting of the Planning & Zoning Commission adjourned at 6:45 PM.
